Walking, of all the soft means of transport, is the one that brings us back to the essential. Strolls through the countryside, through time, hikes to keep fit… lace up your shoes and let’s go!

A land of hiking for nearly 400,000 years, the Périgord has seen generations of hunters, walkers, pilgrims and horsemen. During your hikes in the Dordogne Périgord, you will follow paths that will lead you to discover nature, history, culture, rural and architectural heritage on 780 kilometres of long-distance paths and 4,000 kilometres of short-distance paths.

200 kilometres of GR 64 marked out in white and red!

You can stop off at the Domaine Les Pastourels during your walk from Bergerac to Rocamadour, which is one of the forgotten paths.
A former 180 kilometre pilgrimage route from the Périgord to Rocamadour, this magnificent route is now signposted and allows you to cross the vineyards and hills of Bergerac in complete safety, before skirting the green Dordogne valley and its cliffs, to arrive in the Ouysse valley, which makes its bed in the arid causse of the Lot.
The religious and medieval sites, the cool and welcoming riverbanks will be as many occasions to stop and enjoy your time: a fabulous journey!
